CROSSCHECK have made the jump to vinyl with their new 7 track EP ‘On The Offensive’. Retaining the classic CROSSCHECK sound we all have come to expect, the Boorloo 5 piece deliver the goods whilst also diving into new and heavier aspects of the hardcore world, and even a hint of nu metal! A couple of features in there from ENTRAPMENT and CLOSED OFF! including a redo of CROSSCHECK classic ‘Loudmouth’ just to cement this releases spot in Perth hardcore history. A truely accessible EP made for everyone to enjoy, from those new to the heavy scene, to the spin kickers and the old heads in the back.
Recorded by Cameron Murphy at Opaque Audio, mixed and mastered by Ben Cunningham at Burial Sound and to finish, the main cover artwork by hardcore art legend Jon Mayo, an exclusive Loudmouth cover from @f0rgotten.art and a layout put together with photography from Isabel Armstrong this truely has been a great collaborative effort we are all proud of.
We launch this officially at The Bird on October 19th from 8pm. Support from TERMITE, STREETS OF SEPARATION, DIRTYWORK and CRIMINAL CHARGE. Only $15 at the door so make your way down and be one of the first to get your hands on the vinyl.
