Salt Money
Love of my Life LP

How did this record come out on Bad Habit Records you might ask? Let me tell you.

Ads from Team Glasses had mentioned this band Salt Money and how good they were, his taste was more in the melodic/emo/indie direction than mine so I didn't really take much notice. Foolish me. When I saw them they really blew my head off. Super intense screamo played perfectly. I don't really have a bunch of reference points for this style, but a quick google turns up this no echo article written by the guy from Black Army Jacket that mentions Off Minor and Hot Cross - https://www.noecho.net/features/salt-money-screamo-band

Fast forward a few months and chatting to Dean, the singer, about music and the way he talked about 90's screamo the same way my circle talked about 80's hardcore ten years earlier was both endearing and sort of off-putting.

In the same conversation Dean mentioned they had an LP all ready to go, but the plans for the release hadn't panned out. After a discussion with Michelle, the brains behind Bad Habit, it was decided we'd offer to release it for them.

Fast forward a few months and after all the standard set backs, dramas, problems, delays etc that come with releasing a record, the Salt Money debut LP is here and it's even better than we could have imagined.
